This weekend was a fun but wore me out at the same time. On Saturday, Joey and I had a big movie day from movies we got from Blockbuster. It started with watching disc 1 from season one Scrubs, I love that show! We then proceeded to take all 4 discs to Blockbuster and rent disc 3, Big Nothing, Billy Madison and You, Me and Dupree. Afterwards we hitched our butts over to CDB to have a very later dinner of pepperoni pizza from the Heavens.

After that we headed home to watch “Big Nothing”, which we’d never heard of but it had David Schwimmer and Simon Pegg in it so we figured it would be good. We were right, it was really good and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it. After watching disc 3 of Scrubs then Billy Madison (omgz memories), we passed out until 3 the next day. We woke up and watching You, me and dupree which was a funny/cute movie.

Joey then turned to me and said “Oooh…want to rearrange the rooms today?” My mind was screaming to stay lazy but the light in his eyes made it impossible to say no. So, we proceeded to move both computers in one room with all of our systems and our bed into the old office. It’s so nice when we’re raiding to turn around to each other and talk/make comments. Also, the middle room gets really cold which makes it so nice to sleep in there.

We decided to go ahead and get everything situated like that because we’re going to be staying with Joey’s parents for at least another year. With Penny going through all of this, we don’t want to leave yet and we feel the need to be around to help as much as possible. I’ve been dying to get out on our own but sometimes others come before yourself and I really don’t mind staying here to help. I love Joey’s parents and I want to do whatever I can to make this time easier on them. Penny will be going through chemo until around Christmas and hopefully everything will be better after that. All we can do is keep praying for the best and have faith.

I would really like to get this CD for myself and one for my parents, I think they would truly enjoy it. There's a bonus that it comes with a really cool vintage Police poster in the CD. Check out the video above to see the really cool video spot above. As I watched it, I just had a huge smile spread across my face and a flood of memories. The Police are a fantastic band and it's been proven as over the past 20 years numerous musicians have covered their songs. So, get the CD if you've heard covers and listen to the originals for how truly great they are. I don't see how you can pass this up, it's a 2 CD (28 tracks) compilation of their greatest hits and you also get that awesome poster I mentioned before.

Tons of WoW talk ahead so if you don’t play, you can skip the next couple of paragraphs BUT I do have a question for all reading at the end, so please read that.

I haven’t been posting much because I’ve just been playing tons of WoW. Our guild is doing Kara so Joey and I have been working to get geared/keyed. Now that we’re keyed, we started officially running with them last night. It was a lot of fun and the guild has just recently entered Kara. We downed Attumen, Moroes and Maider. Stalkers War Bands dropped off of Attumen but the other hunter beat me on the roll so I’m still stuck with my Giantstalkers bracers which provides plenty of laughs for all involved. Joey ended up getting Iron Gauntlets of the Maiden from…well the Maiden, hah. I was really happy for him as he’s dying to get better tanking gear.

After Kara, we headed to Wal-Mart and Dunkin Donuts for coffee. Upgraded our mouse pad, got tons of ramen noodles and Monster…gotta love Wal-Mart. After we got back, one of the guildies offered to go to Mechanar with Joey (I keep wanted to type Xin, haha) and I so we headed up there. The last boss dropped my Beast Lord Helm so I’ve got 1/5 pieces for that. I also got Stellaris off of Sepethrea. So, Mech was good to me as it’s only the second time anything has every dropped for me in a BC instance.

Okay enough WoW talk…I’ve got a plea for you dear readers. When I was younger, I remember reading a poem or short story about this man talking to someone about his heart. He spoke of how it looked all torn and tattered, pieces shoved back in and torn out but it represented all the love and hurt he’d gone through in his life. He said it may not look good but it reflected him and he didn’t mind. It was SOMETHING along those lines, does anyone know what I’m talking about? If so, do you have a name to the story or even better, a link?

Thanks guys and hopefully I have more than videogames to write about my next update.

Reno 911 unrated dvd release!

I'm sure all of you have heard of Reno 911 on Comedy Central. I've never been a big fan but I know a few people who are and I've seen the movie with them. I saw a posting opp on payperpost and had to take advantage of a chance to write about it.

It looks like the Reno 911! Miami The Movie unrated version has been released. The movie itself actually made me laugh, I mean how could you not laugh at these guys in Miami beach? The crew has to try to get everything together and help out when the convention center for the national police convention becomes a biological terrorist target. The same crazy cast is in the movie as the TV show and somehow they seem to be much funnier in the movie so I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

When I visited the website for the movie, I noticed they had some games available. I chose to play around with the PSA announcements that you can send to friends. I sent a couple to myself and they provided a few chuckles. I love little email things like that because when your friends and family see them, their curiosity normally overrides all else and they end up laughing at it.

I got a small laugh out of the webpage itself:

The cast and crew oner at Reno 911 have did a good job on the site and movie. I may not be a fan of the show but I'll be sure to watch any of the movies they come out with. Try to get your friends together and watch Reno 911! It started yesterday when I woke up and I was talking to Joey, I bent over to grab some trail mix and I had pains shooting up my spine and radiating in my lower back. I had to grab to desk to keep from falling over from the pain.

This isn’t pleasant by any means and I’m hoping it goes away soon. Sleeping last night was far from restful as practically any position aggrivated my back and rolling over nearly had me in tears. I’m sure I woke Joey up plenty of times moaning and groaning in pain.

It's a handheld interactive, multi-media guide to the sky. All you have to do is turn it on, point it at any celestial object in the sky and pull the trigger. From there, it is able to identify planets, stars and so much more. I don't know about you but I think that's pretty awesome and I'd love to have it for myself but it'd be a novelty. I think my father would love to have this, all he'd have to do is point at the sky, identify what he wanted and point his telescope in that direction. It's amazing the technology we are coming up with these days.

This has been a sponsored post.

I'm excited to see where everything is going to be headed in the next few months.

After that, Joey called and he got his check so when he gets home we've got to go to the bank to deposit his check. Afterwards, I need to go grocery shopping for dinner components this week. I want to try something new so we'll see what I come up with. Hopefully I'll have a successful operation and be able to blog about it. I've really gotta start taking pictures of the food I make.

Speaking of pictures, I want a new camera really bad. Nothing fancy, just something that takes better photos than this old 2MP we have right now. Hopefully with some PPP, I'll earn enough cash to get something decent.

Okay, I need a shower so off I go to scrub a dub dub!

Pay per post wins the lotto...well close enough!

Pay per post has recently received another 7 million dollars in funding to help bloggers earn money while advertising. I think this is a great advancement for pay per post and I can't wait to see where they go after this.

As some of you may not know, pay per post pays bloggers toadvertise on blogs about products and services from advertisers. I've been doing this for a little while and I love it, it's easy money and they payout fast.

I love doing pay per post because it tends to introduce me to products and services I may not have found otherwise. I know I've been able to add quite a few items to gift lists and on my "to buy" list. I think this is the reason pay per post has did so well where a lot of other pay to blog websites have failed. They provide great services along with fun and interesting blogging opportunities.

I'm proud to be a part of this website and I believe I will continue to be a part of it in the future. I'll especially stick around if they keep getting fundings like this and providing great services to us bloggers. If you haven't signed up yet, I definitely recommend that you do.

"Press Release:

The PayPerPost Revolution Accelerates, Sponsored
Blogging Marketplace Secures $7 Million Series B

Draper Fisher Jurvetson leads round and joins Board of Directors

ORLANDO, FL – (June 12, 2007) – PayPerPost, the leading marketplace for advertisers to reach bloggers and other consumer content creators, today announced it has completed a $7 million second round investment led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, an investor in the company's Series A and one of the world’s leading high-technology venture capital firms. The financing brings the total amount of capital raised by PayPerPost to over $10 million, giving the company considerable resources for further development as the industry’s leading Consumer Generated Advertising marketplace. Additional participants in the round include existing investors Inflexion Partners and Village Ventures as well as new investor DFJ Gotham. With this investment, DFJ Managing Director Josh Stein also joins PayPerPost’s Board of Directors.

“PayPerPost created this exciting new advertising space and has established itself as the industry leader,” said Ted Murphy, chief executive officer of PayPerPost. “Although we’ve only used a portion of our first round capital, this added support from investors unlocks significant growth potential. Our content creator and advertiser ROI metrics clearly demonstrate the upside for PayPerPost’s model. We intend to use this capital to build the infrastructure, visibility and professional expertise necessary to reach and retain a greater network of advertisers and content creators than ever before.”

Since its founding in June of 2006, PayPerPost has signed more than 6,500 advertisers to its groundbreaking service, which has enabled Consumer Content Creators to be compensated for their efforts discussing specific companies, products or services via blogs, videos or other media. The content creators are required to disclose relationships with advertisers on their blog, providing transparency for the end reader. Over 125,000 Internet postings, most in the form of blogs, have already earned money for their creators through PayPerPost’s innovative marketplace. PayPerPost recently released PayPerPost Direct, a disruptive new service that allows advertisers to contract and negotiate directly with individual bloggers they identify through a safe, managed system.

“PayPerPost has laid a strong foundation for the future,” noted Tim Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. “It continues to attract a critical mass of participants from both the advertising and blogging communities. Analogous to Overture’s sponsored search model, we believe PayPerPost’s business model holds disruptive potential and will enable the company to thrive in the evolving paid-content arena.”

To mark the $7 million dollar funding, PayPerPost has launched a new website detailing the company’s service offering at http://www.payperpost.com. Bloggers and advertisers can easily sign up at the site and begin leveraging the self service marketplace.
I’ve decided to change my weigh-in day to Friday so that I don’t have to worry about my sodium intake on the weekends. I’ve found that I do most of my flex point eating on the weekend and it usually shows on the scale on Monday but is usually gone by Friday. Yea, I weigh myself on a daily basis, wanna make something of it? ;P

Anyways, weighing myself today, I’m down a half a pound from Monday so that works out perfect for me. I’ve reset my bonus points so hopefully when we go out to eat with Leesha and Joe tomorrow night, I can get something yummy. I’ve been craving pizza so maybe I can talk everyone into Giordano’s stuffed pizza. Omg so good and it’s pretty good price considering a medium stuffed all 4 of us last time.
A trip is in order!

Joey and I have been planning a trip to New York for the past few years. Small things always come up that cause us to delay it, bills, sickness or just plain unable to save money. One of the biggest kickers is finding a good hotel for a reasonable price, I do not want to be mugged on my lifelong dream trip!

So, I was browsing for some cheap hotels when I came across hotelreservations.com and they had package deals. From everything I have seen, there are some pretty good prices on there. We have assumed we will have to save up around $4,000 to stay at a nice hotel and go do all the typical New York things and this site is able to provide us with prices that let us do these things! I am planning on traveling by foot or cab when we get there but they do have car rentals available if you need a car wherever you are going.

I have browsed further into the site and they have such good deals, even if you are traveling internationally. A trip to Paris to visit the Empire State building has also been a dream of mine since I was young and this site makes it worlds more affordable than if I was doing everything on my own.

I am happy to find a site like this because it makes it that much more accessible for us to be able to visit. Cheap Hotels is kinda of an oxymoron when it comes to New York City. I love sites like this because everything is put into one easy place and you have one number to contact if something goes amiss. So, if you are looking for a place to book your next trip, be it a simple flight, a flight and a hotel or the whole package with; a flight, a hotel and a car rental...check out hotelreservations.com. I know they're on my list now.

After watching some ill-fated infomercials (none for the GTXpress) which I really want for some reason), I decided to get myself a bagel and log onto WoW to check some stuff.

Wouldn't you know it, WoW is down for a bit for some server maintenance. As Stewie would say, BLAST! I'm giving a rogue another try since Joey and I agreed to level to 70 together, I don't play Dest unless he's on too. I guess I'm gonna go ahead and play some Counter-strike, see if I can find any good servers.

Hi-ho, hi-ho..off-a-gaming I go.

I'm not one of those people, even though I try to be sometimes, that researchs a company to the bones to find out if I want to shop there but I am curious and love reading up on places I shop. I think masterseek is perfect for that and perhaps I'll visit there in the future.
I love working from home but some days it's just so tempting to jump back into bed and snuggled under the covers for a few more hours. Today it wasn't possible because Joeeeeey called and woke me up before I had to get up for work. ./slap to him! ;) I think God for the job I have and the $$ I make. It's really a huge blessing and some days I take it for granted but then I think of all the people who would kill to have my job and I thank God again.

I've also found doing some paid posting on this journal brings in a little bit of side money which is nice and adds a bit of cushioning to the wallet. Now it's just a matter of sending the cash to the bank account rather than spending it before I click the transfer button. Luckily, I've learned to train my impulse buying a good amount and don't have to worry too much about spending cash on random junk. It helps a lot on the internet especially because all I have to do is close out of the window.

Ah well, it's that time to start working so I better get off of here and onto my database.

This has started happening to me in the past few months and it gets to the point where I'll wake up terrified or upset beyond belief. I hate it and I really have no idea how I can stop it from happening.

Last night Joey and I forced ourselves to go to bed so that we could try to get back on a regular schedule. After 3 hours of sleep, my dreams started getting worse and worse. It ended with a ton of people being squished in a bomb shelter with bombs going off above us, there were body parts everywhere from an earlier bomb and it was really, really freaky.

I tend to wake up after every dream and fall back asleep. At least I can roll over and snuggle up to Joey really tight but I still wish there was a way to stop the bad dreams. >

CBS has announced that they are doing a mid-season renewal with 7 episodes and more to come if we get tons of fans watching.

Read about it here:
http://jerichoboard.cbs.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?redirCnt=2&tsn=1&nav=messages&webtag=CBSMBJericho&tid=13329

So, here's my call to you dear readers.

I'm not sure if many of you have hear of PayPerPost (PPP for short) but it's a fantastic service for all of us bloggers. PPP is a program where you get paid to blog. I truly believe it's a revolution in advertising and providing income for many who work out of the home. I've been doing it off and on for a few weeks now so I've made a bit of money.

PPP has recently came out with a service called PPP direct and it makes provides another source of earning money with them. PPP direct allows you to create a direct link on your website which gives advertisers access to hire you to advertise a product with them. I know what you're thinking, "That's not a new service, plenty of companies do this." You're right but they also charge a huge overhead fee and charge a big markup. In the end, you're making more money for the company than you are for yourself. Now, wouldn't you rather earn the money and share a small percent with PPP to help them pay for their fees. PPP charges a small 10% fee which has 5% of the fee go directly to transaction fees with Paypal and credit card processing.

This makes it incredibly easy to earn more money and provide more content to your viewers. As I see it, it's a win-win situation all around. So, go sign up at PPP and get started on earning some cash!

So, we've become readdicted to WoW and are slowly leveling our characters to 70.

This equals tons of game time and fun! We're slowly working on getting PvP gear. We've finished getting our marks from Alterac Valley and War song gulch, now it's a matter of doing Arathi Basin and getting 30 more marks. If you play WoW, you know how long and drawn out Arathi Basin can be so we're REALLY looking forward to that. I'm trying to decide if I want to use my marks on a PvP mount or PvP gear, that's the biggest decision I have to make right now. Comparing the PvP gear to some of the end game raiding gear, it seems to be around the same stats so we'll see what happens.
